Balwant Singh a 62yr old farmer of village Buttar distt Moga,had severe chest pain on walking even 10meters.His weight was 88kg and BP was 180/110.He went to Hero DMC heart hospital where they did an coronary angiogram and told him that he had 100% blockage in two arteries and 90% blockage in the third.Effectively he had only 10% blood flowing in one of the three arteries supplying blood to the heart.
The doctors told him that bypass surgery was the only way out or else he could die any moment.Like any one of us he was afraid of surgery and all its complications including death on the table.
