Build Muscle Exercises

When you first start to lift weights, it can be kind of confusing as to what exercises you should do. Some people work out with machines, others like to use free weights. Here is a list of the best exercises for each body part-
1. Chest- The bench press is the best exercise to stimulate your chest muscle. The load you use with bench press is greater than any other chest exercise. When you use a large load, it will recruit more motor units which will build more muscle.
2. Upper Back- The best exercise to stimulate your upper back is probably the chin-up or pull-up. You probably don’t see too many people doing these exercises. It’s because they are too difficult and people don’t want to put forth the effort. If you do one of these exercises, you will see your upper back begin to develop.
3. Lower Back- The best exercise for lower back is the deadlift. This is an exercise that will cause the most weight to be used. Deadlifts might seem intimidating to do at first. Do a simple Google search and you will see the correct form to use.
4. Triceps- I recommend doing bar dips with weight. When doing dips, make sure you keep your elbows tucked to your sides. Otherwise you’ll be working more of your chest muscle. Close-grip bench presses are just as good as doing weighted bar dips.
5. Biceps- The best exercise to build your biceps would be the standing barbell curl. When performing the barbell curl, make sure you don’t swing the bar. I like to put my back against the wall to prevent swinging. Make sure you keep your elbows tucked to the side to prevent cheating. I also like to use chin-ups as a bicep builder.
6. Legs- I recommend doing squats to build your leg muscles. I guarantee you that if you do squats, you’ll see bigger, stronger legs.
7. Abs- Rope pull-downs with heavy weight are the best to stimulate stubborn abdominal muscles.
These are the best build muscle exercises you can do for each of the main body parts. I recommend staying away from machines for most exercises.
