Curing Bad Acne- The Popular Bad Acne Cures

January 29th, 2012 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Uncategorized

As a past sufferer I endured years of bad and the different kinds of treatment that helped at times and did not help at other times. I tried using Acne injections, Accutane and Tetracycline as well as other antibiotics. Here are a few bad cures that I used and how well they worked.

Acne Injections
When an cyst becomes severely inflamed, there is a good chance it will rupture and scarring may result. To treat these severely inflamed cysts and prevent scarring, dermatologists may inject such cysts with a corticosteroid. This lessens the inflammation and promotes healing. An interlesional corticosteroid injection works by “melting” the cyst over a period of 3 to 5 days. Think about this. If you have a giant puss filled zit and it stretches your skin too much then you are going to have a scar. The idea of the injections is that they help to drain the into your body instead of popping the zit and having it get infected and scar. These injections were not painful and I found that htey worked pretty well. The problem was that I had to get them a lot of times. The good part is that that spot would then be clean and the would not come back. I really thing that injections are a great bad cure.

Accutane
Accutane is made from a drug called isotretinoin and is taken in pill form. While taking Accutane, patients are regularly monitored for side effects through follow-up visits. For most people, these side effects are tolerable and not a reason to discontinue therapy before remission is achieved. However, it is important to keep appointments for follow-up visits because monitoring can reveal conditions that a patient might not notice. For example, a patient may not realize a rapid increase in bad that is detected through a blood test. Before, during and after I took Accutane I had blood tests to watch my and I had no problem. The problem with taking Accutane was that it was expensive costing at the time two dollars per day for a couple of months which seemed high and one side effect is that it really dries out your skin. My lips would crack and bleed and my nose bled a lot. Accutane works really well as a bad cure though. I took the Accutane and then a year or so later took another cycle of it and my bad was gone for good.

Tetracycline Pills
I took Tetracycline of years and found that as a bad cure it did not work very well. Tetracycline works well for simple uncomplicated but I was not too impressed by how it worked for me. Oral antibiotics have been a cure for severe for many years. Like topical antibiotics, oral antibiotics work to reduce the bacteria (a contributing factor in ), which, in turn, decreases inflammation. Treatment with oral antibiotics usually begins with a high dosage, which is reduced as the resolves. Over time, the acnes bacteria can become resistant to the antibiotic being used to treat it. When this happens, another antibiotic can be prescribed. Even with my bad experience most people find the effect of antibiotics that are used to treat such as doxycline, erythromycin, minocycline and tetracycline to be great.

There are newer, better, cures for that did not exist or that people did not know until recently. If you are interested in a proven method to rid you of your , then read my review of a

Treating Cystic Acne, Hard Skinned Pimples!

January 23rd, 2012 by admin | No Comments | Filed in Uncategorized

Referring to a hard personality, we say that “He is a thick-skinned fellow.” If you make this comment in a shop selling skin-care products, you are likely to catch the attention of the alert salesman: Please go to counter number…so and so…The ground for cystic is asphyxiated skin (dry on surface, oily underneath) –the thickened skin!

For cystic , innovative treatment technologies are now available. It is desirable to start it with external medication. To shrink, lumpy cystic , apply a dab of hydrocartisone cream. Have you seen the tailor’s sticker- “Specially made for you” on your trousers? Similar is the case of treating cystic . The will give a program tailored to meet your needs.

Peel is the most potent formula to mar cystic . It provides more exfoliation for oilier, thicker and resilient skin types. It is effective on extremely sun-damaged and thickened skin. It is also excellent for those with cystic and asphyxiated skin.

The warmth, moisture and fragrance of herbal steam melts away muscular tensions, clears the mind and lifts the spirit. You may wonder what this has got to do with the cystic . Steams are one of the oldest traditional ways of deep-cleansing the skin. The moisture softens the dry outer edges of the skin, making them easier to remove, leaving behind a soothing and fresher complexion. The heat boosts facial circulation and activates the pores and glands which brings dirt and body toxins to the surface.

All said and done, let us take it that everyone is not blessed with smooth, glowing and healthy skin. But, we have to carry on with the available skin and look after it by giving it the importance it deserves. The skin is the final protection for your body and so it is your duty to protect its health and well-being, by understanding its present condition properly.
